Agathos (Good) ‘the essence’
Romans 8:28 states, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
This verse emphasizes that it pertains to those who are aligned with His divine will. The term translated as “good” is derived from the Greek word Agathos, which signifies “excellence of various forms.” Understanding the profound implications of Agathos and the concealed truths it embodies can significantly transform your mindset and life. To attain this good (Agathos), it is essential to consider three key principles.
Firstly, maintain composure during your challenges; exercise patience, refrain from complaining, and avoid questioning God.
Secondly, while it is acceptable to share your struggles with others, reserve your tears for God alone. Protect your valuable tears for moments of prayer.
Lastly, whatever service you render to God, approach it with increased vigor, passion, and enthusiasm. If you preach, do so with greater fervor; if you engage with the Scriptures, increase your reading; if you sing, compose and perform more songs; if you assist God’s people, extend your support further; and if you participate in church activities, enhance your involvement. Remember, all your efforts have God’s approval, you are in sight of God and that is why our adversary, who seeks to dominate the world, aims to instill despair in you to hinder your endeavors, but you are not destined for discouragement. Rise and become a steadfast soldier of God, equipped to overcome the schemes of Satan.
The victory belongs to you in the mighty name of Yeshua Messiah.
